Wish Film Review By Logan Coleman

Wish is the latest film from Directors Oscar Winner Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn. The voice cast that stood out was Oscar Winner Ariana DeBose, Prime-Time Emmy nominee Chris Pine, Angelique Cabral, Prime-Time Emmy nominee Victor Garber, Prime-Time Emmy nominee Natasha Rothwell. I love the score of this film.

This film has a lot of callbacks to original Disney films in a good way, and in a way has similar elements to the humans of Shrek franchise meet some of the animations style of Atlantis. The film definitely has some Arabic themes to it in my honest opinion. I am going against most other film critics; I am giving this film 8 stars out of 10.

Teeth is the full-length Directorial Debut of Mitchell Lichtenstein and it was released in 2007. The cast that stood out was Jess Weixler, the late Lenny Von Dohlen, Vivienne Benesch. This film follows a teenage Christian female who is in a purity group and starts to realize she might have vagina dentata and it explores how it would affect her life seen through a horror film’s take.

I am letting people know this film can be triggering to people who have been sexually assaulted. The art direction for this film was good. In my honest opinion I am surprised this film never received a sequel. I am giving this film 8 stars out of 10.

Saltburn Film Review By Logan Coleman

Saltburn is the latest film from Director and Oscar Winning Writer Emerald Fennell. The cast that stood out was Oscar nominee Barry Keoghan, Jacob Elordi, Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike, Oscar nominee Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe. This film has very similar elements to American Psycho, The Usual Suspects, The Talented Mr. Ripley.

I loved the soundtrack of the film. The film does contain several sequences of flickering lights that could cause people who have photosensitivity epilepsy to have seizures. This film has connections to the LGBTQ+ community. I am giving this film 7 stars out of 10.

Vamps Flashback Film Review By Logan Coleman

Vamps is the latest film from Director Amy Heckerling and it was released in 2012. The cast that stood out was Alicia Silverstone, Krysten Ritter. I would say the film needed more rewrites as well as a higher budget. Napoleon Film Review By Logan Coleman

Napoleon is the latest film from Director and Oscar nominee Ridley Scott. The cast that stood out was Oscar nominee Vanessa Kirby, BAFTA nominee Tahar Rahim and I am hopeful they will be nominated for Oscars for their performances. In my honest opinion the film’s pacing was too slow. Just as a warning to animal lovers especially people who love horses do not watch this film.

This film should have been dubbed in French in my honest opinion. I was honestly mixed on Oscar Winner Joaquin Phoenix performance due to the writing of his character. I am going against most other film critics; I am giving this film 4 stars out of 10.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes Film Review By Logan Coleman

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is the latest film from Director Francis Lawrence. When it comes to cast that stood out was Tom Blyth, Golden Globe Winner Rachel Zegler, Josh Andrés Rivera, Oscar Winner Viola Davis, Jason Schwartzman, Hunter Schafer. All of the songs helped the film flow at a steady pace.

The one character who is the moral compass is Hunter Schafer and I am hopeful that she will be nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. In my honest opinion this film is sadly reminiscent on reflecting the horrors of genocide that mirrors in my honest opinion of what happening to citizens of Gaza and Palestine being unjustifiable being killed by the Zionist government of Israel. I am going against most other film critics; I am giving this film 8 stars out of 10.

Thanksgiving Film Review By Logan Coleman

Thanksgiving is the latest film from Director Eli Roth. The cast that stood out was Nell Verlaque, Addison Rae, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Milo Manheim, Rick Hoffman, Gina Gershon, Karen Cliché, Gabriel Davenport. The costume was definitely on point. I am not a fan of Eli Roth as a Director as well some of global views, with this being said I think he did the best he could despite the film needing multiple rewrites of the screenplay.

In my opinion I was mixed on Prime-Time Emmy nominee Patrick Dempsey performance due some of the physical traits of characters. I was honestly confused who was supposed to be the main final girl due to two main actresses looked very similar in my honest opinion. The film feels like a love letter to non-meta horror films of the 1990’s and early 2000’s but set during Thanksgiving. I am going against most other film critics; I am giving this film 6 stars and ½ out of 10.
