War for the Planet of the Apes Film Review By Logan Coleman

War for the Planet of the Apes is set many years after Dawn of the Planet of Apes. First off for the people complaining the film that has political undertones in the film, just stop complaining because the undertones that some people are finding because they are diving too much into film besides actually enjoying the film. This performances by Andy Serkis, Steve Zahn, Karin Konoval, Amiah Miller and Terry Notary were fantastic!

I know comment on the performance Woody Harrelson was nuanced and remind in the first scene of Jeff Bridges in Ironman and his performance definitely reminded me of Robert Duvall’s role in Apocalypse Now. This film had references from Apocalypse Now, Bridge on the River Kwai and The Great Escape. The films cinematography were fantastic. I also praised that the film has one most serious story lines. This film could serve as a conclusion to the franchise, but I am hoping they will continue to make more if they can get Andy Serkis back. I am actually going against most other film critics, I am giving this film 9 stars out 10!
